I truly don’t have the words to fully capture just how exceptional Silvia is as a wedding planner. My husband and I fell in love with Sevilla over the years and became engaged there, so from the very beginning, we knew that Sevilla was where we wanted to be married. Living in the United States, we also knew that planning a destination wedding would require significant guidance and expertise, so we began our search for a planner online. When we came across Bodas del Sur, we were immediately drawn in by the beautiful photos of Persian weddings featured on their website. Since our celebration would be a mixed Persian wedding, seeing that cultural understanding reflected so thoughtfully made us incredibly excited—yet the idea of planning a traditional Persian wedding in Spain still felt daunting. That is, until we met Silvia. From our very first virtual meeting, Silvia’s warmth was instantly apparent. She listened intently to our story, genuinely cared about our vision, and made us feel confident that our dreams were not only understood but truly valued. Her kindness, attentiveness, and passion were evident from the start. We later met Silvia in person in Sevilla to officially begin the planning process, and she arrived impeccably prepared. Every venue visit and vendor appointment had already been thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to make as many key decisions as possible during what would be our one and only trip to plan everything in person. While the process initially felt overwhelming, Silvia’s constant positivity, radiant smile, and calming presence made everything feel manageable. Her reassuring energy eased our stress not only during that trip, but throughout the entire planning journey. We returned to Spain about a week before our wedding, knowing those final days would be filled with details, emotions, and last-minute adjustments. As expected, our guest list shifted more than once, but through it all, Silvia met us with nothing but patience, kindness, and grace. She never made us feel stressed, rushed, or uncomfortable—instead, she made us feel supported and understood during a time that could have easily felt overwhelming. Silvia held everything together with such calm confidence. She remembered every detail, anticipated our needs, and worked endlessly behind the scenes to turn our vision into something even more beautiful than we imagined. Our welcome party and wedding day were truly the most magical, unforgettable days of our lives, and we owe that entirely to Silvia. Her dedication, heart, and passion shine through in everything she does, and we will be forever grateful for her. We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Maria, who joined our planning journey in the final month or so. She worked very hard to ensure everything was taken care of in that last week before our wedding and always did it with professionalism and kindness. Thanks to Silvia and her team, we now look back at our wedding with full hearts, overwhelming gratitude, and memories that feel even more magical every time we revisit them. Silvia became a dear friend throughout this journey, and we miss our regular conversations with her more than we can say. We love you, Silvia!

We used Cenarte and Bodas del Sur for my wife’s surprise 40th celebration weekend in Sevilla. Maria held our hand through the entire brainstorming, ideation, planning, re-planning, and on-the-ground execution. Great energy, a heartfelt effort to understand us and what we wanted to do and always a friendly and happy face to assist. It was a fantastic weekend and everything went spotlessly according to plan. My daughter’s wedding was on October 5th 2025 and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Silvia and her amazing team brought our vision to life and even better. Everything was beautiful and we couldn’t be happier, I just can’t thank her enough for doing such a wonderful job. Not only she is a wonderful planner she is just a wonderful person.

One month ago, Bodas del Sur helped us realize one of the most beautiful, magical weekends of our lives. After getting engaged in April 2023, my husband and I knew we wanted a destination celebration for our traditional multi-event Indian wedding. Our goal was to throw an unforgettable party in a beautiful setting, and our only stipulation was that we could not be the first Indian wedding client of any potential wedding planner. We loved the beautiful Moorish architecture of southern Spain, but had no contacts for Spanish wedding planners. On a whim, we Googled “Indian wedding Andalusia”, found the Bodas del Sur website, and reached out. After a few introductory emails, the initial zoom call felt right. Javi (the owner of the company) and Ana, our main wedding planner, seemed to genuinely want to get to know us, so they could understand how to make our dream wedding possible in Sevilla. Having planned many Indian weddings before, Ana was also quick to highlight options for Indian food, mehndi artists, and potential venues for events like a haldi, sangeet, baraat, and the actual wedding ceremony with mandap. After a couple months of preliminary discussions, Javi and Ana helped us shape our vision of this dream wedding in Sevilla. 5 wedding events, each at a different location to highlight the charm and beauty of the city. We then flew there to see the potential venues and meet the team in person. From that first meeting in person, we knew our initial hunch from the zoom call was correct. Javi and Ana had a warm and welcoming energy, backed up by a wealth of experience. The company actually has 2 arms: Cenarte, which plans corporate events, and Bodas del Sur, the wedding planning service. Both branches cater to international clients, and are busy planning many events throughout the year. Add to that the beautiful venues of Sevilla, and we knew that Bodas del Sur was the right wedding planning team for us. Once we had committed, we spent the next 1.5 years ironing out the details. Planning a 3 day, 5-event Indian wedding for 200+ guests seemed daunting at the outset. But the Bodal del Sur team made it as smooth and painless as possible. Since they only work with couples planning destination weddings, the team is fluent in English (among other languages), and used to communicating with clients across time zones who don’t have direct access to vendors. In fact, the team served as the primary contact point for all of the local vendors. Although my husband and I speak Spanish, it was great having them follow-up with vendors directly to ensure nothing was lost in translation. It also filtered out a lot of the unnecessary back and forth conversation, so we were usually presented with the condensed information and could finalize decisions relatively quickly. Of course, with so many decisions to make, this still meant a lot of communication. Through countless email threads, Whatsapp chats, and zoom calls across time zones, every member of the team carried that same interest from the first meeting in getting to know us as a couple and ensuring every detail of the wedding would match our vibe. While prioritizing our happiness with any proposed plans, the team also offered constructive feedback to keep us in check, when necessary. Minor hiccups were to be expected given the logistical behemoth of planning such a large wedding. But the team was usually timely in their responses and worked to find solutions if we had to pivot from an original idea due to budget or logistical constraints. In the end, it was more than worth it. 1 month later, and our guests keep telling us it was one of the best weddings ever. It would not have been possible without the Bodas del Sur team. We cannot thank them enough for all of their time and incredibly hard work. The memories and relationships that we established will be cherished forever. Javi, Ana (!!!), Esther, Maria, Natalia, and all who were involved are the BEST! If you have not yet had the pleasure to work with the team, you should absolutely meet with them, and you will agree.

After deciding on Sevilla as our wedding destination, a quick google search brought me to Bodas del Sur and their stellar reviews. It was the best decision we made! Silvia immediately put us at ease with her calm demeanor and off we went! Planning a wedding is never easy, especially one abroad, but Silvia, Esther, Natalia, and the rest of the team made it as painless as possible. Even though we did 2 site visits, it is essential to have a local partner who can visit locations and speak to the vendors on our behalf. However, I highly recommend a site visit since it was so much fun! Silvia took us to 2 fantastic caterers (Antonio Bort and Alfardos) - the tasting experience was absolutely wonderful and we ended up going with both vendors because we couldn’t choose. Special shoutout to our wonderful DJ Ana, who really worked with us and made sure our preferences were priority. Silvia and Esther were both incredibly patient with us throughout the whole process and I could not have asked for a better support system. They held my hand during the most stressful moments and always had a smile on their faces. I am anxiety prone so having Silvia counter that with patience was vital. She never appeared overwhelmed, even when some of our ideas proved a bit challenging! She never gave off a hint of doubt throughout the whole year and that allowed us to enjoy the planning a lot more. I also want to thank Natalia (our deco stylist) who was wonderful to work with. She completely understood my style and aesthetic after showing her a mood board and it was great to have someone whose opinion I trusted. It felt like I was planning the wedding with a girlfriend! The whole weekend was like a dream. My husband and I were in awe that everything worked out so well and our guests were blown away. The venues were extraordinary and made the trip to Spain worth it for our guests. We will be talking and thinking about our wedding for many years to come and that would not have been possible without Bodas del Sur!

Bodas Del Sur planned our destination wedding in Seville in February 2025. Our main planner, Silvia Gomez, was fantastic! She will patient, organized, and provided us with the wedding of our dreams! Going into wedding planning we were a little nervous because we are based in the USA and did not speak Spanish. We can firmly say that Silvia made the process of wedding planning extremely smooth and easy! It was not at all stressful. They had amazing vendors for photography, venues, catering, florals, etc. We would highly recommend Bodas Del Sur for destination weddings. They made our wedding a dream come true! It was perfect!!!!

Having had a wonderful experience planning my wedding with Bodas Del Sur in 2021 I went back to them 4 years later to plan celebrations for a big birthday. It was the best possible choice I could have made. I had the pleasure of working with Esther, who understood exactly what I wanted and planned and executed two events perfectly. We had a welcome dinner on Friday night with 40 out of town guests in a gorgeous Sevillian house/palace right in the heart of Sevilla, followed by a tapas and dance party on Saturday night for 75 at a funky local art gallery/restaurant, again right in Sevilla. All of my guests raved about the food, drink atmosphere and uniqueness of the experience, due in large part to Esther's knowledge and experience of venues, caterers, musical professionals etc. I can't recommend them highly enough.

It’s hard to put in words how amazing the team at Bodas is. They are a team of the most caring, compassionate, and kind individuals we were able to work with. From the venues, the food, and the memories, Bodas gave us the wedding of our dreams. Our guests constantly commented on how not an issue popped up and that was because of Ana’s and Perines dedication to making sure our event went so smoothly. We are so grateful to Bodas del Sur for planning our dream wedding! I am Canadian Indian and my husband is from Andalucia Spain, we are a nomadic couple who during the year of wedding plan were travelling around to many different places. I am so grateful to Ana for her patience and in curating the best for us. Planning a destination wedding can be challenging but on top of that one that also entails mixing of cultures can be even more so. Bodas del Sur has the experience in curating mixed-cultured weddings and that was very important to us. We had the beautiful mix of both cultures throughout the entire wedding weekend. I am appreciative that they were also very mindful of our budget and were able curate the wedding of our dreams while not bringing on too much financial stress. We got married in September which was an absolutely beautiful time of year in Sevilla. All our vendors were spectacular and particularly our photographer (Ernesto Villaba), videographers (Adrian Toscano) and the caterers (Antonio Bort). I share this review a few months after the wedding as it feels more special to close off a year that was all about love and abundance. The highlight was our beautiful wedding and so many of our friends and family have shared the same - the epic wedding of Gabriel and Roopan in Sevilla was the 2024 highlight. Grateful to Ana wo has become a friend and someone I trusted throughout the process and to Javier who supported us towards the last few weeks. We had our wedding in Seville in 2021. We relied on our wedding planner more than usual since it was during pandemic and we planned everything remotely. We worked with Laura and she was amazing. She knew all the locals which was a huge plus. She spoke fluent English too and was very responsive. I don’t think I was an easy bride since I wanted to plan all the details. But at the end everything was just like I wanted and even better. I had a lot of decorations that I needed to ship in advanced, which was an extra burden for Bodas del Sur and Laura, and I have heard from friends that wedding planners will not accept shipments, but Laura told me it is ok to ship my huge boxes to them. I also hired one of their staff to be my assistant on the wedding day, Miriam, she was super nice and did everything for me. A few times, the vendors I had originally picked told us that they are booked; Laura was able to find alternatives for us. And to be honest I think they were even better options. We also had a welcome dinner and a goodbye pool party. Venues that Laura recommended were perfect. I highly recommend this group. The only regret I have now is that we forgot to thank them on the wedding day during our speech.
